Medical Considerations
If you have any of the following medical conditions I will
require a medical clearance from your physician to determine
if it will be safe to have a permanent makeup procedure done:
*Diabetes - healing could be compromised
leading to an increased risk of infection
*Pregnancy - procedures should be postponed
*Heart Conditions , High Blood Pressure,
Poor overall health
*Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP), Artificial
Heart Valves, Artificial Joints- any condition that requires
prophylactic antibiotics before dental or other procedures
will need to take this medication before micropigmentation
as well.
*Glaucoma- there is an increase risk of intraocular
pressure combined with pressure placed on the eye to place
eyeliner could be damaging.
*Bleeding Disorders- any blood disorder that
affect blood coagulation such as hemophilia, sickle cell anemia
and platelet disorders
*Medications - Accutane, Retin-A and topical
steroids can make skin fragile. Anticoagulants (blood thinners),
long term use of aspirin and vitamin E can interfere with
blood clotting time and cause increased bleeding and bruising.
*Herpes Simplex- if you get fever blisters/cold
sores you have an increase risk of experiencing an outbreak
during any lip procedures. An antiviral prescription should
be taken as directed.
*If you have an compromised immune system
and do not heal well with wounds you are NOT a good candidate
for micropigmentation procedures.
